Just curious....who does most of the trail building for the Farm and Mammoth? I am interested in getting involved there and at other trails around the metro. Thanks.

Welcome Porter!!
It's great to see people so interested in helping out after only a couple posts. The situation with The Farm has been bleak for a couple years now. Each year is it's last. There's a crew that maintains and adds to the trail system at The Farm, but I'm not sure how to get in touch with them. I believe they're called The Farm Crew - but this is purely speculation and second-hand (or more) information passed on to me. I'm sure someone will speak up and help point you in the right direction.

Meet up with the boys on Tuesday or Thursday nights out at the farm. They have their group rides on one of those two nights. Park at the High School or maybe the S.A. if they still allow parking for bikers.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm relatively new to the area so I really appreciate it. The Farm is my backyard now so I would love to get involved any way I can.

Yeah, my new backyard, too. I've been impressed with the number of people out on bikes these past few days. Chaska seems like a pretty bike friendly town to me. See ya out there.

I work in Chaska (just north of Lake Hazeltine) and ride the Farm pretty regularly (mostly at lunch). If you ever want to ride sometime, shoot me a PM.

I work in Chanhassen, just off Audubon Rd. Yeah...my lunches are flexible so a lunch ride could work sometime.
