Plum Creek Trail Status

Checked out Plum Creek yesterday and found that it was still a little damp in places, but very rideable. There were already some tracks when I got there that may have been from a little earlier when it was still pretty wet, so the trail did get a little beat up. Depending on who you talk to, this could be a good or a bad thing for a new trail like this. Some say it needs the "depth" and needs to be broken in a little.

I was at my parents in St. Cloud this weekend, decided to check out Plum Creek.

Awesome trail! You really don't want to get caught in too high of a gear, do you? Some of those quick uphills are a little unexpected.

I went OTB near the end of the woods, there's a banked right-hand turn, a little downhill. I was just enjoying the turn, when my front wheel caught a section of really loose dirt. The wheel stopped, I didn't. When I came back for my 2nd lap the guy at the compost gate said "you've got a little dirt on your side". I'm like - yeah thanks. (Like maybe I didn't notice when I hit the ground?)
2nd time around didn't go OTB but didn't enjoy the turn as much.:D
