I have a 1999 Manitou X-Vert for sale. The steer tube is about 8" in length. The fork has 4" of travel. Color is black with all decals removed. Manitou grease and micro-lube pump go with the fork. The fork has disc tabs and has brake bosses for V-brakes. Fork is in good condition. Asking $85.00 firm. PM me or post up here.

As far as the functionality.....is it in good shape? I don't care so much about scratches and such. I might want this for my XC bike.....no.....not for my P.2.

Yea Shad, it's in good shape. I had it on my Banshee Scirocco at the Morc party at buck hill. The fork has boots on the stantions so they look like new. I don't have any pictures of the fork. It is still on my Banshee, but can be taken off any time. I do believe it has a steel steer tube.

I would like to see it before I buy it. Maybe it's best to leave it on your bike so I can just try it out on your bike. My weekend is up in the air right now. I am in Edina.....how hard would it be to meet somewhere??

I have nothing going on this weekend except for ice-fishing. But I can make time in my weekend to meet up with you. I live in Stillwater, where would you like to meet? You let me know how your schedule is and I'll make mine work around yours.

Well, my wife was/is supposed to move to St. Cloud this weekend and I was/am supposed to help her. The only problem is that she is reconsidering the move and might decide to try driving 62 mile to and from work everyday......which is way against my principles as many of you may know with the whole fuel thing. So, until that is resolved.....I dunno what is going on this weekend for me. I will keep you posted. You can IM me with a phone number if you like....that way I can just call you and set up a time.
