Hey guys,
Finally sat down and hashed out the prices for the DH race, you should all be happy I talked the price down some to draw more riders, no 90 fee this year...

Friday July 15th
10 am lift service starts for downhill race
2-8pm registration opens (registration for short track race closes at 4pm)
5pm GreenMan Gladiators race begins
Who: Open to all skill levels
What: A short track race consisting of some single track, a short climb, with
some secret challenges. Top finishers advancing. $500 in cash plus prizes.
$20 or $15 if you are register for more than one race.
Where: course to be announced
Note: awards will follow end of event

Saturday July 16th
8-10am registration for both downhill and XC races
9 am lift service for downhill opens
11 am GreenMan sappling start (12mi race)
11:10 am start for GreenMan XC full (24 mi race) $1000 in cash
12-2pm GreenMan down registration
2:30-3pm GreenMan Course Closed
3pm GreenMan Down starts $500 in cash and prizes

Entry Fees:
$50 for XC races (race only)
$45 for GreenMan Down (race only)
$25 extra for festival pass ($75-$100 Value)

Note: awards will follow end of event

On sunday I'll be stickin' around to take the course down, but will be willing to take a any one who wants to the Superior Sk8 park, or urban in D-town after I am done, or just hang around and rip Spirit for a while!
Post any Qs and I'll answer the best I can.

I think it would have been cool to have the race course go through the camping area that was just below the parking lot. That way I could have sat in my chair, beer in hand and cheered people on.

To many people complained about to many things...promoter and XC race director didn't want to put up with it...that is what I am told anyway...I had nothing to do with that sorry...I'm in charge of the DH stuff only. Should be a killer event with $2000 in cash payout and prizes, plus live music for the whole weekend!!!

that's too bad. i had much fun at last years event. can't see why people complained. well so is life. i'll still be at this years event!!

thats awsome and it's right in my back yard!! hope the course wont be top secret till race weekend?!?! Can't wait for this one!!!

Hahaha, I'm not going to say anything about the course until some things pan out for sure, so people aren't dissappointed. I'll definitely be calling you when I start to build though
