How long is the steerer tube? About what size frame do you think it will fit?

It fit a 18" Stump FSR with extra spacers...
Are you looking for a fork?
Nope, not really. I just figured that anyone who might be intersted in the fork would want to know that info.
Well, that and I just needed to make small talk to reach 100 posts on the forums here. So that did it...make that 101 posts now:D

I think a SID is a little too wimpy for me....otherwise I would probably want it. I am still looking for a good XC fork though.....if anyone has one.

Shad,
In a week or so I'll have a 1999 Manitou X-vert for sale. It has 4" of travel and I think the steer tube is 8". I've been running it on my Banshee, but am switching over to my Marzoch. Z1's for that bike. If it's something your interested in let me know. If you need it right away I can take it off the bike for you and get it to you soon.

I'm looking for a new fork, but I need 9 inches or 210-220mm, uncut length. Ooh, did that sound creepy or what.

Ok- just measured the steerer tube. 8.125" from the top of the fork crown to the top of the steerer tube.
