Suburban Assault - Taking a ride on the Mild Side

It was 25 degrees and sunny at lunch time, so I put on my best Hawaiian shirt, loaded up the Mini-Van, and headed for Salem Hills. However, the bright sunshine had softened up the trail to the point where it was no longer rideable.

So, I decided to take my under-inflated studded tires and do some Suburban Assault on Inver Grove Heights:crazy2:

Yeah, Baby!!! Narrow sidewalks, over curbs, through the puddles; I rode it all!

Say was wondering if your planning on riding on Sat or Sunday? I spoke with Adam E and we were looking at doing some on Sunday since we're both from Eagan, wondering if you wanted to join us?

Thanks for the invite, but I'm planning to be up north this weekend. I'm bringing XC skis, snowshoes and a bike, so the only bummer will be warm weather.

Besides, you and Adam will probably ride 3x my cruising speed.

Cruising speed? I thought that was the ONLY speed. I am so outta shape from the winter I'm lucky if I could outrun my grandma... and she's dead!

DGI might be up for Salem on Sunday, I've alway's wanted to do the Sat. ride but I work Saturday's.
