Amasa Back trail?

I'm planning a trip out to Fruita/Moab in mid-April. I've been hearing some rumors that the Amasa Back trail in Moab has been grated so the utility company can access the pipeline up top. Anyone have any first hand knowledge of this?

I just rode it and it's been "tamed" a little bit but still a hell of a climb and an absolute blast coming down. Make sure to do the Sovereign Trail it rocks! Have fun!!!
