I know there are a few gopher hockeys fans out there besides me.

The gophers are going to be strong in the next few years. Glad Phil Kessel made the right choice.

I am still pizzed over Vanek leaving.... me and the GF had 1/2 season tix this year.

No doubt. Bet he'll regret it when he's playing for some minor league hack team or foreign hack team somewhere and we win the WCHA and Frozen Four again.... :banana:

I miss Ballard more, but that's just because it seems that the Gophs aren't lacking forwards that like to glide around and cherry pick (Potulny, Tallackson, etc. unless it's a power play). Peltier, Atherton, even Harrington have been shaky in my mind and having another "older" guy back there would be a help. Looking forward to next weekend... the playoffs are always fun.

I just hope this isn't another Dave Spehar episode for the Gophs. I don't think so... this wasn't a Doug Woog decision pulling 5' 2" players straight out of high school like they did in the past.

Should be a better year next year. Hope we can finish strong this year.
