I am selling my '04 KHS XC 204. Just bought in July and still has free maintenance until July '05. Has minor scratches and blemishes but still in great shape. Make an offer or open for trades as well.

What size?
And how much do you want for it?

The bike is a small and I would like to get at least $850 out of it. I forgot to say that it had the rear shock replaced in September, so it is barely broke in yet.
I can get a brand new XC204 for $700. I have a female friend who is interested. Would you take $650 since it has "minor scratches and blemishes"?

No I will not take $650 for it and ya I would like to know where you got that price from because clearly on the website it books for $999.
I'll post the link as soon as my friend decideds what she wants to do. I don't want everybody to rush and buy the last few before she gets a chance. It is a closeout sale with free shipping.
I wasn't trying to insult you with a lowball price. Just making an offer. I'll post the info in a couple days.

Search on Google for KHS 204 and you will find it pretty easily. S,M,L for $699
Ty,
Not trying to dis you or anything, but good luck trying to get $850 for that bike. Bikes are worse than cars, as soon as you ride off the shop floor or pull it from its packaging, its worth probably 50% to anyone else.
Its used, the shock has already been replaced once, and a second owner would have no warranty coverage. Pretty tuff sell, you might want to re-evaluate your asking price. Nothing personal, it's just the way it works for used bike equipment. Out.

Plus, you can get brand new 304's for $899. And it's not a botique brand...

My advice: Offer the bike for $700. She's going to have to mail order the new bike and probably pay shipping so your's is still a good deal. Take the cash man.

The place that is selling them for $699 includes free shipping in the price. :) Doesn't look like she is going to buy it anyway from either source. *shrug*
