Has anyone been out to Brian Head Utah to ride? I've read a few things on it and it looks like a great place to go ride. They say it's cooler there in the summer than like Moab and such. If anyone has any info, please pass it along. Thanks.

:)I spent a half day riding there at the end of August two years ago, and the trails I rode were great single track, and the weather was fine. Would have spent more time there except that it was just a "warmup" for a North Rim Grand Canyon trip the next week.
There is enough advanced single track that the Western Spirit Brian Head Mountain trip is labled "hardcore" in their catalog. Their Brian Head trips run from July 4 through Sept 2 this year, so that should give some idea of the optimum riding season.
If you've got the coins to pop for $925 for a five day supported ride with guides, all meals provided, etc, I guarantee Western Spirit will show you a great time. Their catalog is on line of course, at www.westernspirit.com

Last time I was in Utah I spoke to a few guys that were just ranting and raving about it. Sounds like a lot of trail to be had. Definitely a summer ride cause I think it's at 7,000 to 8,000 feet I think. I know when I was near there in early May it was still closed because of snow. In fact we drove through a snow storm near there on that trip. Probably would be awesome June-Sept.
