Hi all-

My friend lost his dog in the North Mpls area somewhat close to Theo Wirth. He is offering a $400.00 reward if anyone finds him. More information is here: http://www.peteryan.com/meka/

I saw a photo and reward info somewhere a few days ago. Looking out for the dog.

Man, what a drag! I assume the Humane Society has been checked and/or notified. The Minneapolis Animal Shelter should be notified too if your friend has not already done so. Did the dog have tags or a microchip? I will keep my eyes open. I often walk our dog in the woods along Theo Wirth Pkwy between 55 and 394. Hopefully we will attract this dog's attention and we can bring him home. Good luck!

That sucks big time, I'll pass this onto my brother he lives right next to theo.

Yep, all the shelters have been checked, police, etc. I don't know if he was chipped but does have tags on his collar.

The dog has been seen many times recently in the Linden Hills area of MPLS.(Lake Harriet area) Please keep your eyes open if you ride this area. Thanks all!

The dog was caught in a live trap Friday PM in South MPLS. Thanks to everyone for your help!

Was the pooch OK? I know he's been missing for some time. I hope he isn't in bad shape.

In great shape. People were leaving food out for the pup and sounds like Meka isn't in shock anymore. Meka looked pretty good in the pictures I saw, but could use a bath!

Great to hear Pete. I was just fooling around taking some photos of my dog yesterday when I came in and read this post. She says congrats on finding the dog as well.
