Hey guys,
Just found out the Westby Whiteknuckle DH and DS races will be held June !0th and 11th!!!!!! Saturday DH/DS courses open to pre-riding, Sunday racing starts at 1:00 w/ the DS races then after that the DH starts, best of two runs! I'll be going hopefully the tenth to the 12th. Last year I wrangled the Team Sally guys to meet us there last year, so we had a group close to 20 w/ racing #s in the 70s all chillin and rippin'! I'd like get a LOT more DH/FRers from MN there this year. Super laid back good time!!! Let's do it!!! :D

Where is the Whiteknuckle race?

If I'm not mistaken it is down near by La Crosse, Wisconsin. I'm definately marking my calander and will have my camera gear down there.

It's just outside of Westby, about 8 or so miles from my house. I'll be there for sure! Picture takin' and everything. Prolly doing the XC race if they have one this year.

Thats great I'll be there I definatly cant miss it again after seeing the photo and vid footage from last year, looks sick!! Another event I cant wait for is the superior bike fest in marquette, mich. For anyone who knows and those who don't. They got it going on out there. It's like a mini whistler they build awsome stunts: ladders, ladder drops, bridges 10' off the ground for like 50'. It's really looks alot like cpx but built on something like spirit. Yeah their sick out there. I'm talkin locals hitting the stunts that were set up for the Monster jam slopestyle event and this 17 year old kid hit a 22'drop (if u hit the bottom of the tranny it was closer to 30') nutz. Not Me Not yet at least. haha. Anyways they have a downhill and freeride events on saturday June 25th. For anyone wondering what a freeride comp is it's when you go down this coarse with about 15 stunts ranging from small ramps and ladders to near vertical roll downs and a couple big drops (6-10') and then some skinnies like 6" skinnies. Yeah better practice on some curbs!! You are judged on time what stunts you hit(you don't have to hit anthing your not comfortable with they have granny lines) and overall smoothness and finess. Marquette is a fun city and is sure to be a great time. So put that date on your calender too. Check it out at superiorbikefest.com see ya there. Also like you were saying about going the 9th I like to also are they gonna grip if we ride the course on friday???

Hey Brad,
What's up man??? Sorry we never got to ride the pits last fall!!! I still want to this spring though!!! I'll be gettin' hold of you this spring if you are still game to help do some buildin' on the Greenman Course???

I'm showing up early for the whiteknuckle cuz I'll be shootim some footy of the organizers on some of their secret stuff, hope fully I'll have this bad boy then...http://catalog2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ModelDetail?displayTab=O&storeId=11201&catalogId=13051&itemId=68668&catGroupId=14571&modelNo=AG-DVX100A&surfModel=AG-DVX100A..:D ...Otherwise I see no problem showin up Friday night to set-up camp and the like, (but I think the courses are closed to riding due to insurance reasons) That is what the Team Sally guys did. Then you have all saturday and sunday to ride.

I'd like to make it out to Marquette but I don't know if I can swing the cash or time, my summer is already fillin' up fast!!! But I'll try and sneek it in there!!! The dates again are the 11 th and 12th for the whiteknuckle...

Hey Buck, just wondering if we are doing the same as last year. Meeting at your place, possibly ride your trail then head out.

The superior bike fest sounds pretty cool too, its my senior summer and my parents said i could take a few mountain biking trips, just might have to work that one in.

Hey Dust,
I don't know yet if that'll work I may be heading down earlier then last year, to shoot some footy of the race organizers on some of their secret hits.
Still along ways out, just trying to get the dates out early, so who knows it may still be a possibility.

Oh so fun, I can post! I'm gonna whor eit up a little.

I'll be there this year too! I wanna try that BIG drop they had off to the left of the DS course this time! Something like 19-20 feet:banana: (<<---I love that bannana)

Oh yeah Buck, I have a bunch of footage my buddy shot last summer of me pinning some drops and manualing down Main Street for like six blocks. But I can't open it up on my PC. But If you want it's your's for some additional footage in the future.

Yeah Beau,
I'll take it for sure!!! I hear you are buildin' some in Kato, is it true???

I'm going early to the whiteknuckle to shoot some video of the builders on all that extra stuff...should be fun...We'll have to get some footy of that rock drop as well.

<<<<--I love that guy!:scream:

Yeah, so Pat is going to go nuts this year at his house. We will be renting a Bobcat to build some huge dirt jumps. We're going to use wood for lips and dirt for landings. He's also talking about building some drops and skinnies out there. Best part is, it's all private property, so nobody can mess with us!

We should have a 8 pack, a 6pack and a few BIG tables for the beginners. The 8 pack will be from 15 to 30 feet doubles. Time to step it Adam!

Hahaha, I've quelled the fear of hitting doubles...if I my hand is rockin' I'll hit that shat up!!! Right now it's lookin pretty grim...if it doesn't start goin' better in the next 3-4 weeks, more surgery in 2-3 months...But I'll help build if you need another shoveller!!!! I definitely want to come capture the process of building on video and such!!! I'm gettin' a bunch of new gear in the near future...1st a New cam, then some sweet accesories, and maybe even a crane :crazy2: by mid summer!!!! How would you and Pat like to build the DJs for the DJ jam/comp I am adding to the Greenman Festival???

Naw, Greenman is too much money for what you get, unless it changes. I'm not into the dreadlock-granola ( :etard: )type a stuff and don't really care for music in general. When I race I can't hear anything anyway.

We won't be shoveling either, we will have the Bobcat for that! Just sit back and chill in the sun and suck on some ice cold beer....or water!
