I need help from those out there with art skillz. I'm laying out a small brochure of the Theo Wirth trail for MOCA for distribution to LBSes and we need a good-looking cover.

Here are the specifics:

The brochure is going to be a tri-folded pamphlet (in other words, just a regular 8 1/2 X 11 inch sheet of paper folded over three times like a letter.) So, the cover art will need to fit on a tall format, 3 1/3 X 8 1/2 inch cover. When you open it up there will be the map of theo, IMBA rules of the trail, MORC, MOCA and IMBA logos and that type of thing. I'm also kicking around the idea of the front cover being incorporated with the back cover, so maybe play around with a 6 2/3 X 8 1/2 inch tall with a fold in the middle.

So, artists, throw me a bone here! I'm thinking something like a rider riding between two buildings in an alleyway which turns into singletrack disappearing into trees or something like that. Just a thought, if you've got something more esoteric or abstract than that it might be pretty cool, too :).

Just go ahead and post your images here and we can get everyone's input. I'll make the ultimate decision on which cover art gets published, but with much consideration to what everyone else thinks. :)

How about a photo of a bunch of free riders coming down the hill and chasing the naked dudes off the beach and out of the park?

I do graphic design by trade and could whip up a tri-fold in no sweat at home. Reply to my e-mail with a phone # so we can discuss, I'd like to help.
