I started to do some custom painting on my bike, but I'm not sure if I like it or not. Any suggestions or other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

A little paint is a good way to freshen up your frame. Kind of feels like a new bike. If you want a cheap way to print some custom decals, you can get some waterproof laser jet shipping label stock from Office Depot and print out some really durable decals. I repainted my Stinky and made some new decals and they turned out great. I still applied a clear coat over them just to make sure.

Here's a couple of pics. It was an '02 Stinky DeeLux (Chrome and Blue) which I painted Black with metallic blue flake.

What are you using good 'ol rattle can or do you have access to a paint gun and all that???? I'm thinkin' of colors for the Bighit, I have a buddy that has a paint gun / small booth...He'll do it for free... Looks good though Dust, I'd ditch the flames but that is a personal preference.

Yea, I have a friend that is really good at using an air brush and he said that he will do it free of charge. I'm think that I will ditch the flames, but I'm not sure what else to put on it.

The custom decals that you put on your kona look really nice, I might just have to make at stop at office depot sometime soon.

Hey Buck, have you heard anything from the guys at White Knuckle Race? My parents want to know when it is because of my graduation party. I also noticed that their site is down, thinkin that they might be updating it.

Hey Dusty, this is something I was going to do awhile back. I was going to airbrush some barbwire wrapping around the down tube. With blood and bits of flesh on the barbs dripping off. And on the top tube I was looking for that torn metal look, like something pierced the frame. But those were some ideas I was kicking around. Feel free to run with it and modify. Goodluck.

Dust,

I'll find out ASAP...My guess would be same as last year...
Have you signed up for the IMBA classes at Steeple Chase Ski Area yet??? Go over to the general discussion board and sign up, they'll be building the DH/DS course.
