I'm hoping to sell my stab primo frame and use that money to get a new hardtail. I have it narrowed down to the evil imperial, banshee morphine and 24 bicycles le toy 4. Any thoughts or suggestions on which to get if I can get my frame sold. Thanks.
Dust,
What's up man??? I would go with the EVIL...why are you gettin' rid of the KONA??? crack again? You know by the end of summer you'll have the DH bike again, lol...:p

I just feel like going back to a hardtail. Its a better bike for the type of riding i do. It get really tired when I have to bike all the way across town with the kona. I need something lighter. Plus I would also have to get a new rear shock or have it rebuilt if i kept the kona. The evil would save me money. I have to start saving for college.

Don't overlook the Banshee Scirocco. I have one and love it. Just a tad lighter than the Morph. and just as tough. All the bike you listed are a good choice. I'm a hardtail fan also. Don't get me wrong, I love my full Sus. but something just feels right on the hardtail. Old school I guess.:etard:
Dusty,
The guys I got my Dirtbag from (Kyle & Kev) at Transition are awsome dudes. Killer prices and they have a really bomber crash replacement policy too. Check out their hardtail, the TrailorPark, just another option for ya. Good luck, new bikes are fun.

I've had a Morphine, ridden an Imperial set up for DH and spent a couple of minutes on a Le Toy that a kid had on one of our rides. My suggestion....steel is real. If you want a hardtail for freeride, steel is the only way to go. My Morphine beat the heck out of me because it was just too rigid. The other bikes you mentioned are very much the same. The Le Toy is tank and it rides like one! I couldn't get used to the Imperial's geometry. It felt very off balance to me (could have been because it was set up with a Monster T). Look into a Belair...a .243...an Instigator or something like that. Just as strong and they give a little on big drops and cased jumps.
As for one of the 3 you mentioned, the Morphine would be the best for all around riding due to the more xcish geometry. I went from a Kona Stinky D to a Morphine and quickly back to a full squish because my body couldn't take the beating. I don't have enough finesse to smoothly land a 5 foot drop on a super stiff hard tail. I need the spring to make up for my lack of style.
If you only want one bike, better find one that fits you well.

I heard of a place called push suspesnion or something that rebuilds fox shox for a pretty good price. Plus i also hear that they are better when they come back than they were for the fox factory. www.pushindustries.com

Full-Suspension Riders* are lazy bikers. Hardtails will make you think and work the bike to get over or around obstacles IMHO.
*If anything this will increase the no. of posts at this time of year.
Dust,
Push is definitely the way to go if you keep the KONA.
Wether you are on a HT or FS is up to you both have there pros and cons...I say pick your posion, and give 'er. As long as you are on two wheels railin'.

Only wheenies go "around".
Like Buck said, as long as your rally-in it doesn't matter what you ride. (IMHO LOL BRB YTYSCBYNBAF)

I've decided that I'm just going to keep the kona, I would miss having the full suspension. I also just ordered a spring from go-ride and I'm just gonna ride my shock the way it is for this season, unless I completely destroy it. The only thing that is really wrong with it is that I don't have any rebound control.
