huckin in the pits

Has anyone ever gone to gravel pits before? I started going to some pits around Cloquet,where I live, and it's a really good way to get your confidence up without breaking yourself. Whats nice is the landing is so soft you cant get hurt that easily.On top edge the dirt doesn't always fall down the hill so it forms a wall. There is usually scenarios with no wall all the way up to as big as you want to go. I'm sure there are some sick lines in the iron range. Anyone looking for a rush on there bike the pits are your ticket. Also anyone in the duluth area lookin to dh- fr. hit me up

Hey Brad,
I met you at the Greenman. I helped build that double and flag out the course. I would be super interested in hooking up for some huckage before the snow flies...I went up to Viriginia but didn't find anything that looked legal, so I would be super game to scout some lines with ya and rip it up. oh yeah I live in Duluth.
