Closing ever???

I was just curious if there is a certain time that Mamoth Trail deems itself closed for the season, or do people pretty much just keep on riding untill the snow flies. I havent been out there yet and would like to get a ride in if it is still possible. Also would anyone who has been there be interested??? It would probably be best to ride with someone untill i get better aquainted with the trail. Thanks.

Neither the farm nor mammoth dries out very fast, and to ride them in wet conditions is not very fun. The trails are hard enough without having to ride up and down steep greasy hills. Hopefully this rain will stop and the wind will pick up. Both are really fun!! I hope you get to try the big log ride, it is great!!

Yeah, i was looking forward to getting out there this weekend, but after this all day soaking that we seem to be having it might be better to wait till some other weekend. Hopefully there will still be a few more opportunities before the snow flies. I guess i could have gone there all summer and through the fall season, damn, thats just me though, Mr. procrastination. Oh well. ive had fun with my weekends at Leb, and theo wirth.
