...managed to get out of work early and squeeze in a couple laps pre darkness tonite. The trail is in great shape. Missed the group ride but had to get home to be with la nina.
Leaf blowing issues aside, the trail was in great shape. Fast, grippy and w/o major mud/wet spots.
Now...if we could only get Wirth on par with Leb and I could avoid the 48 mile round trip...

Its sad to see that people live so far away from Leb. The good news is that more trails are on the way... the MORC planning meeting is all day this Saturday and hopefully we'll have lots of news and goals to share with everyone regarding trails etc.
Thanks for your comments on the trail...

I think John said that next year Leb trail work will involve bringing the trail to people so they wont have to drive!!!!
Jonh, I was out tuesday night for a ride and I'd like to also mention my appreciation for the work you guys do out there. Especially the leaf blowing made the trail a phenomenal ride. Great work and thanks again! Its great that we have such an awesome group of trails to ride around here. I wish I was closer too, but the 50 mile round trip is worth it!

I wish I was closer too, but the 50 mile round trip is worth it!I'm 75 miles and I agree that it's worth the trip. I've been making it once a week since the first time I rode it in August. Wish I would have done it sooner. I almost hate to admit that I like Leb better than Elk River.( I feel like I just cheated on someone , or betrayed my best friend. Sorry E.R.) :cryin: Thankfully I work in Moundsview which shortens the trip in!

I feel a little guilty... since I live only 4 miles from Leb. ;) It takes a lot of begging to get me to venture out to elk River. But, I don't think you can really compare the two they each have there own great attributes. And MORC does an outstanding job at Leb.

I drive past E.R. everyday on my way home from work. I rode E.R. at least twice a week now for three seasons, so going to Leb was a breath of fresh air.
