The title says it all.. Here are GPS/Topo maps from a rides at Levis.
This is from a ride that occurred 11/06/2004 - 9 of us from the TC made the trip, what a hell of a day it was, the best weather I've ever had down there!

I should add, if you have not made a trip down there to check these trails out, you are doing yourself and those you ride with a large disservice to the fun/wow factor on riding, some great trails and very nice views.

Enjoy,

Note:
I would like to attach the files, but they are too big..
Sorry.. I'm not taking more time to edit them down - can we do something about the files sizes, they aren't that big!
Limits are 350 x 350. my file is 515 x 496 - give me a break!
I also have another set of files with a longer ride there (26 mi, these are 14 mi)..
Next thing I'll find out once I do end them to size is they are too big memory wise..
I appologize to everyone, but I'm not going to take that time more just so that I can post them here - if you want to see them, then please give me a place to post them to and put the link in this thread.

If you email them to me I will put them on the Levis trail review (and give you credit for doing them of course...)

So how was the Levis trip? Were the trails in good shape? I plan on getting down there in the next couple of weekends. Sounds like you had a good showing of people. Hope fun was had by all who went.

The trails were in great shape..
Yellow Jacket was about as dry as I've ever rode it (usually a swamp)..
Some new re-routes and bridges (for me at least).

You might want to double check before you go down there, hunting starts there soon!!
(sorry - didn't save the Email on the dates on that, now I wish I would of)

You know you can put bigger images in the gallery, right?

Then it's not in this thread and I would have to get the links..
More work and time than I have during a work day (because I get logged out between meetings and projects)..

Yeah right Dirk, I know you are just spending your time shopping for you next toy. :D

I do have to say, it is always a pain to try to link specific images in the Gallery, unless I'm missing something, John?

It's cool on MTBR how easy it is to put images right in posts, not sure how they can afford all the disk space for that though.

MTBR usese the same software we do... they probably have unlimited space though ;)

The problem is that images that are saved in a post can be either saved to a file server, or saved in the database. Being saved in the database is bad - it makes management of the forum software difficult. Saving to a file server is nice, but harder to manage within the forums than it is in the gallery, which was really built more for that type of thing.

The best is always to have the image elsewhere on the web then link it in - that way MORC doesn't pay for the space ;)

In the case of this type of thing, however, it is good to get them not only on our web site but on the trail reviews themselves. I'm hooking up with ya to do that offline - hopefully we'll have your image up soon.

In the future I hope to make this much easier... we're starting to get more and more media and other large files and I do not want to discourage people from sharing these.

Ahhh, the joys of home ownership!

Sounds like Levis is in great shape.
