SX trail. for the fact that I have blown air shocks...:embarass: ...and if you are going to DJ/Urban/Agressive trail ride the build is just better then the SX...And if you have ridden the 888 on your demo you know what the 66 will fill like b/c it is the exact same internals and lowers as the 888. All you would really need to do to it is throw a chainguide on it. As for the forks, DH40 is the only way to go...Rock Shox has always been good for racing, then I see footage of Romaniuk huckin a road gap and watchin his fork explode on impact...not cool...I think there isn;t enough out about the fork yet, I would wait a year and let them work out any possible bugs, although that doesn;t happen to fox often b/c they spend YEARS on research and development. And Kyle Strait just put one through its paces at the Rampage, so if it works for him I'm sure it will work for any of us!!! ;)

:p No new Enduros in the shop yet, probably won't see any until January :hit:

I think I'm gonna go with the SX.. the build between the two is pretty much the same, but the SX gets a chainguide, better brakes (Mag's vs HFX-9's), and the 36. I don't think the shock will be an issue.

The only reason I would go with the Boxxer over the DH40 would be because we're going to be stocking the base Demo 8, which comes with a boxxer, and no one at the shop has ever had one. Would be nice to have some experience on it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, go with the DH40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And there is a differnce in the two builds, the front and rear shocks are both different and will act in different ways, I love the feel of a good coil over and they are burlier, that is what I would get but it ain't my money, we've got to hook up for some ridin some time though so I can see it and give er a go on it!

You just wanna see a DH40 :D

I know the fronts are different... and I already know how the 66 will feel. The 36 has been getting good reviews.. 100-150mm adjustable travel, rebound and compression adjust, 36mm stanchions (35mm on the 66), and really light.

I love how coil-overs feel, too. But ya can't always stick with what ya know.

Damn right I want to see one!!! :D they look uber pimp!!!
You aren't going XC on us are ya??? Damn, lol, I know what you mean...I'll admit I have an XC bike that I use ONLY when I HAVE too...an 01 Enduro, looks like with the SX they finally got it right, the bike looks awesome. good build, solid frame, all = one KICK AZZ bike!
But with that choice it'd be a great DJer...if you are smooth and a great all around trail bike...I want the Trail b/c I'm a coilover and marz whore, hahaha;) :D and I know it would suit my style of riding better.

Yeah, I'd be getting the SX to use as an XC bike, too. mainly that and dj'ing. I want a small bike I can throw around.. I mean, the trail is only 3" less travel than my Demo. And I like the red and black better
