Riding at 10:40-12:00 was awesome. The mud on the other side of the Hgwy tastes better. I am switching over there. What happens if you ignore the DO NOT BIKE SIGNS. What could happen.

New traile are delicate, by the way be careful with the erosion. Don' taste the bark if going fast, its not an good taste. :hit:

Disc brakes are a must!!:crazy2:

Um, please do NOT ride in the mud. It ruins the trail.

And, particularly, do NOT ride where the signs say not to. That's a good way to destroy the relationships MORC and MOCA have worked to build with the MPRB.

I was out there this afternoon to make the final decision to stop the Blitz Build for this weekend. I had to touch up a few spots and saw the nice RUT that was left by a mountain bike. The section of trail was just finished on Wednesday night and now it has this scar running down it.

I know it can be fun to ride in the mud, but please don't this hurts the trails, and the relationships that we are trying to build.

Sorry, my rant is now over.

And if Mara catches you riding in the mud and area's that say NO BIKING, she comes after you with a Pulaski!!!!! ;)

I got your rant.. What about in the gravel or the chipped wool trails. can we do those.

There were tracks before i got there by the way. and if i see anybody skidding or going fast on a descent i'll yell HALT!!!!!

It only takes one.. but two (or more) is even worse...

Doing laps out on the ski trail is alright. You won't do anymore damage to that riding it wet, though that doesn't sound like fun to me.

Thanks for looking out for the trails.

Anyone think that Wirth might be ridable by 12:00 today? (Sunday)

Don't want to tear it up.

I'm going to wait until 2-2:30. Should be OK.

Did anyone ride the trails today?

I'm just wondering if the HomieFest tore it up at all.

A friend and I rode today. The entire trail was wonderful except for the newest section just before and after the concrete launch. There were quite a few tire tracks and the trail was soft there. We walked our bikes out of the areas that could be damaged. Overall the trail was quite rideable and grippy.

We rode it today too. Overall trail was in very good shape. Some sections it was obviious that people were carrying too much speed and tore up some turns. The newest section was still pretty soft and there were a quite a few tracks through the mud. We got off and walked this section also.

Wish others were more considerate of the conditions. There are some great people who have put a lot of work into those trails.

My thanks.

ditto...everything was cool except for the reroute in the last section. pretty soft to begin with probably. Hasn't had a chance to stiffen up, what with the weather. A little grooming and dry conditions, it should be alright.
I don't think the homies rode it at all, unless they stuck to the firmed up areas.
