Urban Freeride on TV....Kinda

Hey all,

If you have have access to the High Definition Cable channel INHD, you have to check out this Red Bull Urban Freeride Competition.

I would record it but have no way of recording from the HD channels at this time, maybe in a couple of months.

I have an HDTV Tivo, but am not quite sure if I get this station via DirecTV... I'll record it if I do - thanks for the heads up!

You can DL shows for free from FSN, pretty cool, a new 1 every week is available, and they are always different stuff, this week was the Boston Bike Battle three, some crazy sh!t!!!! I'm sure it is better in HD though!

I read an article recently, can't find it, about how normal TV programming is probably going to go bye bye soon. Soon, we will be able to use our computer or TV and just pick and choose which shows we want to watch whenever. It would be nice not to have to follow or know a programming schedule. The only things that will need to be on a schedule will be live TV shows, which are usually pretty cool.

There is already a big movement in this new direction. Roadrunner offers iControl and things like TiVO use a hard drive so you can watch shows later. But soon, you will just be able to download them when you want to see them. I can do this with movies using Movie Link. It works great and the movies are pretty clear.

It's on INHD at 7pm - Airtime: Tres Amigos Biking (Hans Rey, Brian Lopes, April Lawyer) biking in Mexico.
I managed to record a earlier broadcast of it - it's one of the better bike-related things I've seen on INHD.
