I tried it last year after I got my bike and I didn't like it. This year, I am more used to the P.2 so I tried it again. It took some time getting used to doing airs with it, but I started to get the hang of it after awhile. I also jumped the spine, which was scary with a big bike. I need more practice on the spine, but I will get the hang of it. I tend to land rear wheel first on the spine. I need to nose dive quite a bit more, but it's hard to do with a big bike. Practice I guess.
All in all, it was a lot of fun. I even was able to do some tail taps, but they were kinda crude and I used my bash ring a couple times...... :).
Now I just need some park tires instead of big knobbies......
Rock on!!!! Glad to hear, if the weather is nice I'll be down to rip on the 30th, I have a whole new bag of tricks for aireals, now I just need to get my tech stuff down...try hittin' a spine with a DH bike...:hit: ...I would kill for a good hardtail! Post up some pics so we can see ta throwin down!

Pics would be nice, but I need someone who will take them. I don't know or trust anyone at the park to take some good pictures. I would like one of me doing an air on my P.2 or jumping out of the bowl with some huge style. The part I jump out of launches me straight up and I must get 4 plus feet of air. I don't know for sure, but it feels high. It's one of those hard to clear things because it's an almost vertical launch.
Any photographers interested in taking some pics for me?....... :)
Well, if I come down next weekend I'll get some killer footage of ya, and maybe at the DJs too! Do they have a good launch box??? How about hips, if they have a bowl they have to have atleast one good hip??? Can you send me a PM or something with directions to Monkey Village, I've never been there before...:cryin: should be fun though...

It's got two hips. Both are in the 8 or so foot high area of the bowl. One is much better than the other. There is not really an official launch box. In the 6 foot section there is a part where you can jump out of the bown and clear a platform to a nice downside. You are literally jumping out of the bowl to do this. It's clearly designed so you can do it, you just have to usually let people know so they don't get in the way because they won't see you coming.....that's all.
I will sent you a map. Just wait until I get home to crop it and all that. I will send you directions this weekend sometime.
