The Vikes play at home this Sunday, and I have tickets so I probably can't make it, especially if it's a regular noon start. Sorry, it would have been fun.

Ah...just thought of this, I have no idea were to go. Looking at this map (http://www.bikeblast.com/BlastMonticelloMap.htm) helps but what should I be looking for? What entrance?

Hey Ryan,
Following the directions on the Blast site, you are going down 90th street until you turn right on Briarwood Ave. You will see an entrance on 90th street for Camp Manitou and that is the WRONG entrance. Keep going down 90th, until you see Briarwood Ave, then turn right. The road is a bit curvy, and you will see a lake on your right. Once you are past the lake, the road will straighten out. You should see an entrance sign that says Camp Manitou. The entrance will be a gravel road that will take you into a big open area with a flat grassy field on your right, and a barn and some buildings on your left. Park next to the big bulletin board on your left. If you miss this entrance, you will hit County Road 39. If you hit County road 39, you've gone too far, so turn around, and take the first exit on your left, with the Camp Manitou sign.

Well, talked to a few people at Boo Blast. I think there will be a couple from there showing up. Does anyone know if Greg is going to be there, the one who's working on that trail?

That was a good ride, I'll have to ride it more often now. Thanks Paul for showing us the trail, that helped. Garunteed to miss some stuff if you don't know it.

I had a good first lap, the second was a different story. After about 1/4 the way through I lost ALL energy, everything. I could hardly get up a hill, that sucked, oh well. I had to bail about 3/4 way through. A few other guys were still going for another lap after I left!! That will be 30 miles. Ouch, they will sleep tonight.

Paul, if you ever go out agian let me know, I might tag along. Thanks

Hello Ryan,
I think everyone had a great time! Great riding with you! The Blast guys wanted to do the 3rd lap backwards, so we went backwards. A whole different trail going backwards, plus we couldn't see the markers, so a bit of an adventure. The trail was really dry on the 3rd lap. Cheers to Gregg for the brilliant trail clearing!! John from Milaca said there's a group ride at Milaca this coming Sunday at 10:00am. Bob is organizing the ride, (I believe its a TCBC ride), so check with him if you are interested! It was kewl to see that many cars at Monti for a ride!! WOW!! :crazy2:

Ya, how many were there?? I would guess about 15-20 people. That was cool. I just might have to ride next week at Milaca, but it's also the Blitz at Theo..
