Milaca is much rougher than the Bottoms. I did the Enduro there 3-4 years ago on a rigid single and was blown for over a week. I have done the Bottoms on a road bike a few times.

dunno [shrug]. gauge on my pump is broken so i've got the "push and guess" method down pat...i'd rather have too much, you can always let some out on the trail.
sorry for not giving you an answer.

I keep my pressure the same no matter where I ride. I like to know how it's going to react and handle. If I am changing the pressure all the time, it's very tough to know how to ride it. I stick with 45 on front and rear. I used to run around 60 to 65, but lowering it gave me better traction. Also keep in mind that the type of tire you run makes some difference, especially if you run tubeless tires, which I don't.
If you riding a Sugar, that's FS if I rememver correctly. How can you get the snot kicked out of you when riding an FS? Just wondering........

so doug what psi would you run on this bad boy - milaca just tore me up - sitting was so miserable so i stood for most of the the ride - higher pressure is fine on a smooth track but crap i think i ended up w/about 35 in front and 40 out back - almost said in the rear but not after seeing gorgeous george on that other thread - scary monsters super creeps - uh-huh
What size tires are you running? The larger the tire, the lower pressure you can get away with before worrying about pinch flats and rim dings.
On my rigid ss I have a Conti Vertical Pro (2.3) on the front and a Ritchey zmax (2.25) on the rear. Generally speaking I run the front around 35 and the rear around 40. Mostly it's a pump and squeeze type of a guaging system kinda like Kurt's.

Obviously by looking at my spelling and comment, I was a bit off that day......:laugh:
