Adam,
This sounds great! Have you purchased the Trail Solutions book from IMBA? One thing that would be good is to show that a club with 60,000 members uses these standards to build. I know working with the city of Minneapolis it helps us out.
If you have a work session up there next year that I am not working on trails here I will drive up to help out. Plus its half way to heading back home in Da U.P. eh!
Hey Erik,
No I haven;t bought their books, but I hope to this weekend at their trail class. Yeah I'm pretty excited I have some ideas for some things that will make your colon pucker...muhaahahahaha...so hopefully it all works out, and I'll be sure to post up here when trails start gettin built!

...I'm already lining up some supporters for supplies...Hey Buck,
If you haven't already contacted 'em, give these guys a call:

I have a friend that has worked for TrueRide - he said they throw out a LOT of small pieces of treated plywood that would work well for decking/supports/etc.
Good luck with the project!
I'll have to get back up to Duluth next summer - do some riding then spend some quality time 'recovering' at the Anchor Bar across the bridge.
Do they still have "Philosophy Night"?

Looks like I'll be spending a lot more time in Duluth if this goes through. Hopefully I'll have enough free time to get up there and help build trails.
ROCK ON!!! hopefully I can get some trail days organized if I can get permission, should know by the end of the week!
