Here's an interesting link. I wonder if justice was done on this because a prominent person was also affected by the incident.

I'am glad they caught this person. I just wonder why? Were does this anger toward cyclist come from.

I guess the 19 year old "teenager" flunked 10th grade biology again.

I'm not sure it's anger. Some of it is just stupid, uncaring, clowning around by irresponsible kids with no idea of the consequences of their stupidity. In saying this, I'm not trying to defend them, just understand them.

I hate to admit it, but the idiot teenage drivers in the suburb I grew up in (Eden Prairie) are HORRIBLE about general disrespect towards cyclists on the road. I rarely ever ride a mile through EP without getting harassed by someone and it's 95% teenagers or other people my age or younger.

Getting an object thrown at you is not farfetched from getting honked at, yelled at, or chased. I've been all three.... and hit, too.

EP may be bad, but I get my fill on Pilot Knob. Even on Sundays from the God Squad. Always honking, yelling to get on the bike path... Wonder if they've ever gone off a curb doing 30. I can't imagine having to have complete trust in a car to stop before the stop sign. NO THANKS.. I'll take my chances on the rode and keep smiling back. Any one know how highway 13s is?

Hiway 13 North of Yankee Doodle is a piece of cake compared to Pilot knob. Nice wide sholder. No worries!
