Latest Conditions/Advice?

Hello All,
Just wondering if anyone has been riding out at Salem Hills/Harmon Park lately and would be able to give an update about the trail conditions there. Also, I have yet to ride at Salem Hills but I am planning on going soon - anything I should watch out for or be aware of?? Thanks!

Just rode the trail on wed. and it's in great shape, nothing to look out for really except the 1st right turn to start the trail, it's easy to miss if you have'nt been there.Just about 3/4 of the way down the 1st hill towards the pond remember to turn right, have fun.:eyeroll:

James F said that it was mowed recently as well. So the trail should be in great shape!

I was there a week ago. Everything was A-OK. :)

Will Salem be ok to ride tomorrow? The weather looks decent, but it rained enough yesterday that I think other trails may still be a bit greasy... Salem is almost all sandy, so should drain and dry faster methinks.

I think it should be fine, I rode there about a month ago the day after a hard rain and it was fine, just that spot with the little log crossing held any water, and that spot's alway's wet, have fun.

Made the drive from Red Wing up to what I thought would be the driest trail in the metro... it was alright in the woods.. but it must have froze pretty hard last night and the top layer of sand/dirt/etc. was way soupy... ended up doing a lap right around the pond as the stuff in the woods was decent...
