Next week will be the last official week of trailwork at Terrace Oaks, its getting a bit cold and were loosing light, so one more week!
Saying that, all we have left is finishing work on one re-route! The re-route is split up into 4 segments and we should be able to dig through it and completly finish it up with 16 people! I'd really love to get this 100% done next week so we can be done for the year and not leave anyting except reclamation for the spring before we start more work.
I am going going to be having trailwork both on
SUNDAY OCTOBER 10th at 1pm
as well as
MONDAY OCTOBER 11th at 5pm
I really need your help to get this done! So if you have not had a chance to get your fill of trail work for the season or if you've never had a chance to do it at all come on out and give us a hand and help get all the loose ends tied up for the year!

Everyone,
Good luck on Sunday @ Terrace Oaks. Should be a nice day for it. If you try hard enough, I'll bet you can also coax Doug into taking a ride. Unfortunately, I'll be up north this weekend pulling out my dock and winterizing.
I plan to be there Monday. Keep us posted.

Doug,
How late to you plan on working on Sunday? We usually work till 1:00 at Theo, if we get done around then I could head down and lend a hand (since I have only one good one!!)

If you go in early and don't mind playing pack mule, plz bring in an extra couple tools (mcloud and pickaxe - the one with the big blade). I'll try to get there a little early. Alternatively, you can just hide the key, and I'll give you a call when I'm on my way over to find out where it is.
BTW, I'm not going to be able to night ride tonight. My bride has me looking at windows tonight after trail work.

DONE DONE AND DONE!!!
All re-routes that were done this year are 100% open and set to ride! There are a couple minor things that are unfinished, but that is not stopping ya from riding them at all. We'll get to those pesky rock gardens next year! Or perhaps later this month if anyone wants to join me for a day of rocks.
Soo for next season, we have more re-routes planned and some HUGE areas to reclaim right off the bat! So everyone please look forward to a FULL SEASON of trail work at Terrace for 2005!!!!
Id like to thank everyone that come out and helped this year, I know it was a late start but guys, if you look at what we did in a short time, we got a tremendous amount of work with the number of people we had some days! So thank you so much guys! Next year will be better i promise *winks*

Doug, great job taking Terrace under your wing and getting all that work done! Its great to see something happening over there and it is great to have someone willing to run the crew.

Was out at Terrace Oaks last Friday and the trail looks really good. I have to admit I kind of miss the eroded downhill but the new stuff has great flow. Mara also told me to mention that she really liked the trail, and regrets that she hadn't ridden it since the 90's.

I agree with how well the trail flows know that it has some much needed re-routes. I love going to this trail. It is a lot like Leb yet it feels orignal. Plus nobody seems to ever be there. I love the way it winds back and forth thorugh the trees. It's a good change of pace from Leb. I wish the gravel downhils and climbs could be re-routed though. Kudos to those who did the work on the trail.:etard:
