Trail work Monday 10/4

Ill be there at 4, otherwise 5pm per usual. If people come at 4 I'll leave a map of the trail showing where we are on my truck (green dodge pickup).

This should be one of the last official trail work days at Terrace for the season. All we have left is too finish the the third re-route and start/finish the first re-route. After those are complete there may be a couple days with rock garden fun and some clean up work, but after that its all done for the year.

I also am not able to get to Terrace until Saturday or Sunday soooo if any other MORC folks are able to get in there with a chainsaw and take out the tree across the second set of singletrack i would greatly appreicate it. Its right before the second re-route begins.

Also bring some lights so we can do asome night riding after!!!!!

I plan to be there as early as I can get away from work. (Definitely by 5pm) Will we be able to get tools while your are in the woods?

I'm still waiting for my chain saw, but will call the shop tomorrow to see what's up.

I'll decide tomorrow if I plan to night ride. I'm a little sore from yesterday and today's rides, but a couple easy night laps around T.O. does sound appealing. BTW, my homebrew light ran flawlessly at Buck Hill, and put out lots of nice white light.

Doug, if we do go, I have an extra 10-watt light that you can borrow. It's not a lot of light, but it should be enough for you to leave me in the dust. If I bring my bike and lights, I'll throw in the extra light.

I don't mean to hijak your trail work thread... but coloradocyclist has the Storm and BlowTorch for $299... some of the best prices I've seen on new. (online isn't showing the blowtorch for some reason, maybe they are out) eBay they seem to go for around $270.

I will not have trail work again at Lebanon... but dang it I don't think I can make it out to help ya'll... work has really been killing me lately.

Would like to help out on the trail work end one of these days, when I can actually get out of work early enough to do so.

What time for the night ride though, might be able to make this.

Where did the hills go?

I expect that we'll be done with trail work around 7pm cause it'll be too dark for swinging sharp axes. Then if Doug shames me into it again, we'll head out for a night ride.

Managed to "Officially" open and complete the second and third re-routes tonight!!!! Also cut a tree that fell across the trail and then burried it bout lil over halfway further down the trail as a nice easy logover for people, it can be completly hopped or ridden over just the same. Then get a lil night ride in after :)
