Okay, so I can find the posts pertaining to trail work (which I have been unfortunately unable to participate in.) I can find information relating to current conditions.

What is the easiest way to get to the actual legal and legitimate trail? I see that there is a map on the MOCA page here http://www.mocatrails.org/images/clean040914.jpg, but shows all kinds of little lines going off in all kinds of directions.

Is there an "official" trailhead? What is the easiest way to get to the trails via bicycle... (I rode my mountain bike to work today and am hoping to ride a bit on my way home.)

Is there a preferred direction of travel?

The easiest way to ride Theo, now that is a tough one. Since there isn't a parking area I will give you the way that I ride it.

Start at Hwy 55 and Theo Wirth Parkway. You will see a trail go into the woods on the North West corner of the intersection. This is a two way trail, just keep riding it North.

I opens to the rail road tracks, go west (left) about a .1 mile. You will then see a trail that heads north, this opens to a access road. Take a left here and stay on it for a while, you will see it Ys. Goto the left up the hill through the mulch. At the top of the hill you will see the trail go into the left, go in a few feet and it turns to the right. This will be the beginning of the loop that will take you across all of the new trails.

This takes you to the blue line on the map. We are hoping to have the full loop done by the time the snow flys. At least have something signed so that people know where to go.

Or you could try to get to Kenwood Cyclery at 5:30, we head out from there every Monday, though next week we will start at 7:00 under the lights.
