Wrist Style Altimeters

Anyone have experience with wrist style altimeters like those from Suunto and Polar.
Any preferences or recomendations?

I have a Suunto Vector watch, seems to work pretty well, the Altimiter needs to be reset pretty frequently though as it gets out of wack pretty fast if you drive cross country, so I usually compare it to any altitude signs that I see and reset it if necessary.

The thing is a serious battery hog though (compared to other watches), in fact mine is dead right now. I think playing with the altitude feature drains the battery the fastest.
