If anyone is ever in the La Crosse, WI area I sugest bringing your bike. There are some great traisl there that have been built by the La Crosse Velo Club, www.lacrosevelo.com (http://www.lacrosevelo.com). You can also find maps of the trials here and a link to the trail's website, www.humanpoweredtrails.org (http://www.humanpoweredtrails.org/). There are also about a gazillion roads to ride on with little or no traffic and plenty of nice hills to leave your lungs crying in pain. Plus there is a brewery in town so cheap beer is found around every corner for your post ride festivities :beer_yum: .

The club down there has done an awesome job. I was only able to get out there twice this past summer but both times I was blessed with great weather. I rode mainly on the human powered trails up on the bluff. The trails have come a long way down there.
I'm gonna hit up Zinger next Wednesday. Let's hope for sunshine!

I rode the Human Powered Trails this spring and they were really challenging and fun. What suprised me was that they were not very well marked once you got back into the trail system but I assume that was just because of the season.
I rode the HPT system this spring for the first time and really enjoyed them. It was too wet to ride the whole system so I've got to get back down and do some more exploring. Had fun on what I did ride and I'd definitely recommend them.
Those and Holzinger together would make for a great fall day's worth of riding.
