Is listed as this type of non-profit? We have a deal going on at work where they match donations but they have to be a 501(c)(3). Any luck here?

-peteI don't believe so.....but.....here's an idea...make a donation to Dakota County Minnesota (which is a 501(c)3 organization) and specify it as a donation to the mtn biking trails at LH (not sure if the county will allow you to do this but wouldn't hurt to ask)

We already are or soon will be a non-profit organization if I'm not mistaken. Not sure which non-profit designation we fall under.

I have a question also. If MORC is now a nonprofit can I claim my donation on my 04 taxes, or does that pertain to those donations made after we became non-profit? I guess what I'm asking is that if MORC becomes nonprofit on let's say 9-1-04 (just and example), are all donations made in 2004 tax deductible or are the donations made after 9-1-04 deductable? Just wondering. It's easier to get more out of me if I know I'm getting some of it back. An MORC accountants out there?

Yep, TLRTS ETS Projects Group. Right by the front door. :)

It looks like MORC is a non-profit...After minutes of searching...

or just go to www.guidestar.org (http://www.guidestar.org) and search for MORC.

MORC is a non-profit. We received our IRS tax-exempt determination letter earlier this year.
