Terrace Oaks Trail Work!

5pm Monday.....We will be clearing the third re-route (or finishing what i dont get to this week, ill be there Tuesday 9/7 around 2pm) that will cross the big uphill before you hit the double track.

Is this still on @ 5pm today? I just sharpened my brush hook -- ready to take down the tripical rainforest :crazy2:

If nothing comes up, I might cut out from work early, and go for a ride beforehand.

Yuppers.....5pm today it is! All we're going to do tonight is finish the lower half of the last re-route, then next week we get to the finishing work. We'll keep it short tonight since its so darn hot out! Im going to guess if we get the same crew as last week it'll take about 20 min less that last week did.

Wooohooo we finished the last of the clearning!!!!!!! Bob was out in full force again (many thanks Bob!) he even brought me "big man stick" with again to beat down the forest, as well as getting a new guy to help out! Chris Fischer (spelling prolly wrong sorry), thanks for staying after your ride and lending a hand, hope to see you more!

Looked for the hornet nest but did not find it. We will not be moving any dirt this week but will be hitting it hard next week. Hope to complete the section that you cleared next week so you can include it in your trailwork plans.

Doug, If Tim&Dale are not planning to bring in equipment until next week, I suggest that we skip the 20th, and try to do all of the finish work on the 27th.

I don't know if John is planning leb work on the 21st. If he is, I can go there, and also try to scare up a few more volunteers to help with Terrace Oaks on the 27th. If we can get enough people, we should be able to finish the job in one evening.
