As his media agent, yes, he is out there lurking about this weekend in Spearfish, SD at the Dahkota 50 mtb race. He is trying to win a bet for a steak dinner. Seems a childhood BMX buddy by the name of Fitzgerald threw a challenge to him in the 50 mile race, on single speeds, and of course he accepted.

Thanks for posting your comments re: the Bike Cops. It was an interesting experience, to say the least. Meanwhile, I enjoyed a bitchen steak florentine dinner after besting my pal Mike Fitzgerald in the Dakota 5-0 Mountain bike race in Spearfish, S.D. last weekend. (www.blackhills.com/ridgeriders). Thanks for posting your comments re: the Bike Cops.
I seem to keep missing you since I've read the article...I always see your bike parked between loss prevention & the elevators in the Marriott (my is based out of there) but by the time I make it down to the cafeteria you guys are gone...oh well one of these days I'll see you to say hi :)
