Hey everybody out there in bike land, how's everyone doing? It is comming up soon. The september trail work day will be Saturday the 11th. We will start in the same place (raceday start/finish area) and start at the same time (9:00 a.m.). This month the focus will be general clean up and trimming back the overgrowth. We are hoping to go into next season with a head start on the overgrowth. The idea of a evening bon fire was brought up. We have plenty of cruddy lumber that is not good for building. It's already there we just need to do some cleaning up. If this sounds fun let me know. Every one is welcome. Thanks for the memories!

See ya on the trails. Chris Gustafson

Hey guys,

Nice man, I just stumbled across the pics of the work you guys are doing...as many of you know I love to see features come up on trails, I especially dig that teeter...scary ass hell the 1st time then a blast after that...I'll have to come rip those trails sometime...

Nice work man. Hadn't ridden there since last year and it looks like you guy have put in lots of work, much better than I remember (not that it was bad before).

The bridges and teeter are great additions. It would be really cool to see some bridges and stuff built into the terrain a bit (cue for someone to tell me off in regards to the one that's built on a tree ;)), there's a lot of cool flowy, rolly stuff there that would be great.

To Crashnburn & Buck,

I'm sorry it takes me so long to reply sometimes. I'm glad to see that you guys are enjoying the trails in Red Wing. In case you were not aware I'm the "trail steward" if you will for th e Red Wing trails. At this point I'm not sure how much more we will be putting in as far as manmade obsticales. The tree crossing is officially known as" Super Freak" The lumber for the teeter and the 2 other things was donated by the City of Red Wing. That's right "CITY OF RED WING". We have been fortunate to have their help and support. If you get to our site, www.muddyriverrocknroll.com (http://www.muddyriverrocknroll.com) you can find a link to the cities website. Tell them how much you like the trails, that will go a long way towards getting more lumber.

We also do monthly trail maintnence days April through October. That schedule is also on our website.

Thanks, Gus.
