I have ridden a few trails in the Chippewa forest.
I have really enjoyed the Cut Foot Sioux loop which is 20+ miles of mostly singletrack. While it is not very technical it is very scenic. This loop intersects the Simpson Creek trail network.
I have also ridden at Suomi hills a couple times. These trails are mostly XC-ski type trails - a little wider than single track. Once again not too technical but there are a few short climbs and descents. The real treat here is once again the scenery. This trail network has a bunch of intersecting loops. Easy to get lost.
For both of these trails I would recommend bringing a trail map. They are available from the USFS or sometimes at the parking lot near the trail.
