If you lost a multi tool at the 24 hours of afton race. Tell me what kind it is and describe it, and I'll get it back to you.

I saw all kinds of stuff out there on the trail. I saw a bunch of water bottles, rear lights and reflectors. I also saw a few of those plastic things that go over
clipless peddles to make the platform peddles and a night rider water bottle battery with the cord ripped out of the top. I didn't stop to pick any of it up so its all still out there. I also saw a ski pole and an empty Southern Comfort bottle. I'm pretty sure those were from the skiers. Of course if someone drank an entire bottle of Southern Comfort they might take a ski pole biking.

I passed a shiny blue Park Tool tire lever on the trail three times before I finally stopped to pick it up....saw a quarter too but I think that was gone the next lap.

Dude that is so funny! I saw the quarter like three times. I looked at it and it was for some reason screaming bad mojo. I don't know why but I thought bad things would happen. Kind of like that episode of The Brady Bunch where they get that doll from Hawaii and bad stuff happens to anyone who touches it. I wanted nothing to do with that quarter.

Hey Steve... I didn't know that it was you that picked up the tire lever. I had looked at it laying there for a number of laps. Each time I said to myself... I should pick that up. I was prepared to pick it up on the next lap and I said to Joe... "Hey, someboy picked up the tire lever." He laughed....

(FYI other readers: Steve, Joe, and I all rode solo based out of the same camp.)
