I am looking into upgrading my current rim brakes for a pair of disk brakes. I am wondering if their cheaper because they lack quality or what???

Nope, they are great disk brakes. I have the 185 on front and 160 on back. Just put them on this year from PricePoint (www.pricepoint.com) but JensonUSA seems to be cheaper at the moment. They're just cheaper cuz they've been out for a while now. I'd say get em, you'll like em.
