I am fairly new to mountain biking and I am wondering if 7 mile has good trails or not?

They're fairly decent, though they were much better before the land manager there decided that gravel was a great way to curb erosion. :eyeroll: For a beginner though, I think you couldn't find better. In my opinion, I think they're best ridden fall and spring though. They have a tendancy to get pretty over grown in summer. St. Peter also has some beginner-ish trails near the new disc golf course. They've been mostly used by ATV's, so look for the two tracks.

They're definitely worth checking out if you're in 'kato. Myself, Martini and others had plenty of fun riding there while we were in college but I've not been back much since. There's a couple of good climbs and a mix of single and doubletrack.

Have at it.

Don't forget 2 ridable stream crossings!!!!!

Depending on water level of course....
