Please E-mail me back if you can help out with this - I can then E-mail you a parking permit if needed - or just show up.

Suggestion is to meet at the turn bridge (South end of Normandale Blvd/Hwy 100) 9AM Saturday - we have key to get in the gate - Dennis and Tom will have hand equipment - but bring a shovel and trimmers for sure.

If someone has a hitch on their car and can tow the small DR mower/trailer over there please let me know - that would be a big help.

Dennis/Tom there is a tree down also in the area you mention you want to weed whip.

P { MARGIN: 0px}Steve, We are planning on going down tomorrow (Sat) morning at around 9am. I think we should look at it and see if there may be a a re-route to make things more fun. We'll have a weed whip with a blade on it. Plus I would like to trim the trail that runs close to the River just west of the large log pile obsticle west of the turning bridge. Would you like to join in and or should we send word out. I can think of a couple of log obsticles and spots that could use a little work. What do you think?
Dennis.

Tom, rode the west side last night and yes there is a tree down as noted - it is I'd say about a mile east of the Ferry Bridge and about a mile west of the Izaak Walton property - right near the bend in the river past the old cornfield so it would be your choice how to access.

There are two large sections (11-13inches in diameter) across the trail plus some other branches. (might make a fun obstacle with a bit of thinking)

Thanks again.

The River Trail is trimmed in most locations and the conditions are excellent. Just a reminder about a couple of things....
1. Please repair or replace logs on the various log crossings if you notice they need some help.
2. If you see where riders are cutting the trail around corners, please use some logs or whatever to block the cut throughs. After all we don't want a straight trail do we?

Happy Trails,
Dennis.
