Pillsbury State Forest

Hey everyone-

I hiked a bit of a pretty sweet trail, open to mtn bikes, just west of Brainerd. From what I saw, rolling hills, only a few wet spots, and hardly any grass (it rained the day we were going to ride it :cryin: ). The trailhead is a few miles north of 210 on Pilager Forest Road. Check it out. Anyone know of other good trails (not too wet or grassy) in the area? I am based in Emily.

Do you live in Emily or Minneapolis?

Some of the trails mentioned are farther away but I mentioned a few pretty close to you (in Emily). Check out the Washburn lake solitude area just west of outing for starters. May be a little grassy or it could be in good condition. I haven't ridden it in a while but will be up there in a few weeks.

The wife has a cabin south of Emily- we hit it up about once a month.
