I was checking out the Northstar Commuter Line's website:

www.mn-getonboard.com (http://www.mn-getonboard.com/)

I had never checked it out before, I just knew that the Northstar line was supposed to head from Downtown MPLS to St. Cloud (eventually).

But if I'm reading that map right, I could ride my bike to downtown, hop on a train, and be a few blocks from Hillside!

That'll be neat!

I wish they'd make a rail system going down 100/169 corridor...maybe to lebanon or perhaps the farm?

I'd be all for it, I'm a bit north of ER, and hate driving. If the fastest they say it can be in service is 4 years... knowing the way things normally work it will probably be over 4 years:(

You know what...it's not the london underground or british national rail, it's not the TGV, or ICE, or MRT, or Eurostar, but at least they're trying...

To bad they didn't run the light rail down the SouthWest Trail. Would of made a lot more sense. A route with less road crossings, a route people actually commute on....

At least the Northstar makes sense.
