Hey - I was just down in Roch this weekend visiting my parents, and found some trails I never knew existed before... They're well-built, maintained, and almost ridiculously well-marked - every intersection has a sign with the trail's name & difficulty.
Check out http://www.rasc-mn.org/rasc_mtb.html for directions and maps. I rode the whole Eastwood trail, and had a real good time...
Good find! Thanks for telling us.

Those are great trails . The RASC club does a fantastic job of maintaining their local trails. The club has several good mountain bike folks and does alot to encourage people to participate at every level. Hats off to them!:)

While the Rochester trails by themselves do not merit a drive from the Metro area, the Rochester trails followed by ribs and Jo-Jo potatoes at John Hardy's BBQ are worth the drive! Who's in?
Oh, and watch out for the "naturalists" on the Eastwood trails......

Since nobody ever posts over here, I thought I'd dig this up...
Was down in Rochester over the weekend. Rode over to Eastwood on my fixie to check out the RASC trails. Wet trail + too many gear-inches = walking. I saw one set of tracks - this trail's a freakin' ghost town. Plus, like half of it has been leveled to build houses on the golf course.
On the plus side, Roch is great for road riding - wide empty streets, lots of paths, and just out of town is some wicked climbing...
Anyone from RASC ever post on here?
