Is Theo One-way or going to be? I've been over there a couple of times and people have apologized to me for going the wrong way. I therefore assume I have ridden the wrong way as well. BTW, the trails are sweet.

Traditionally it hasn't made any difference how you ride it, although certain established groups (i.e. Kenwood) certainly have a way they always ride it.
However, the answer is yes it will be one way, in general that is clockwise around the park starting at the southern section along the RR tracks, but we don't have any signage yet, so it is pretty easy to get confused.

BTW, the trails are sweet.I don't think anyone really knows the right way to go except for some sections that can be a fun downhill or a nasty uphill. So it is kind of trial and error. I think people apologize because they don't know and just assume that you know the correct way. I usually apologize when someone comes the opposite direction just to be nice.
I like to come in from the North side, usually work my way through some of the windy stuff then work my way over to the area with the new trail.

There are still a lot of spurs over there. How would one possibly know which way to go? It's free style until its one long trail. I do think a lot of people come from 55 and go through the part before the RR tracks and after crossing the tracks keep going east.

Well, here's the way is going to run - you can ride it however you like for now - backwards, forwards - it doesn't really matter too much. We did design it to run one way, meaning there are designed downhills and designed climbing turns - so don't drag your brakes going backwards if you can help it (common sense, I know).
Anyway - if you enter at 55 you will go on the left (west) side of the trail and cross at the bridge (there are two routes now, but they still co-mingle).
Once over the bridge, you enter through the gate and go to the left (south, RR side) where the ski trail splits. Once you are running parallel to the tracks you are going the right way on the one way. Yes, it will all eventually be one way.
The loop will eventually drop you out at the same place you entered, where the ski trail splits after entering at the gate. After exiting via the gate and crossing the bridge, there will be a return trail that returns you to the 55 entrance on the east side. That is the extent of the pilot project.
Until we're done - we're just trying to drop you out at the end of the construction and leave it up to you where to go.
Have fun, and don't forget we work every wed. at 5:00 on. Please come out and help a bit if you ride these trails. The sooner we get done, the sooner we can move on and build more...a successful project gives us the opportunity to continue the system all the way through the parks system.

I hope there will be other entrance points to accomodate those (me) who ride in off of Golden Valley via the apartments by the Courage Center. To get to the new trial I generally ride the twisty single track and then end up in the prairie, thn tak the singletrack into the woods that dumps me on the XC ski trail and from there get over to the new stuff.

Sorry, the entrance on the Golden Valley side will be another valid entrance to the loop. You'll just take a left and enter next to the Par 3 pond.
