This past Saturday, members of Bent Crank Racing set out to ride all of the Singletrack in the Metro in one day.

If you are interested to see how things went, click on over to the BCR site:

We had a blast and got to enjoy much of the variety that this area has to offer - over 50 miles of trail, with more out there if you're a die-hard.

Holy epic ride! That sounds awesome! Makes you realize how much trail there really is in the metro to ride.

Great job!

Are you sure there were only 8 of you at Harmon? The pack looked alot bigger than that to me.

Here is a ride I have done that one can't do any more. South of the River Epic.

When I lived by Murphy, I started about 10am one morning rode a loop of Murphy, rode over to Terrace, rode a loop, rode over to Lebanon, rode a loop, crossed the river at the Cedar Bridge (now closed) rode the river to Ferry Bridge, then Rode home from there.

I was beat, but I definitly felt like I had accomplished something.

It was a goooood ride. Ty had to give me encouragement to ride the Farm, but I wasn't sad we rode that one, either, despite being pretty fried by that time. Ya know, The Farm doesn't suck major $@#!$@ the 2nd time you ride it. Weird, huh?

Craig and his wife's tacoed tandem wheel was damn impressive, too! We're talking a 90 degree angle here, folks.

But, yeah, James needs to fix the vegitation problem at Harmon. Get on that one, would ya?

Hey, I'm Working on it.

I plan to go out with a weed whip and Mac this week and try and clear the completely overgrown areas. I am also working with the city to see if coming through with the DR mower and cutting a 2 1/2 foot path along the trail and then having them come in and spray Round-Up on the cut might be a workable solution.

If anyone wants to ride the trail, just follow the new link in the forums.
