Was out at Wirth today for a quick rider. Ran into some guys on the new Phase I trail and asked them what they thought. They said they thought it was OK but were disappointed that some big hill was not worked into the trail. I told them about the trail work sessions on Wed so hopefully they will show up and not just complain about what could have been.

In riding the Phase I trail I found that there were a couple spots that seemed a bit on the narrrow side, but I really liked the fact that in a couple spots you have to work your bike in between 2 trees in one place and in another a narrow crossing between a large fallen tree, if memory serves.

Planning on making out to trail building on Wed. :crazy2:

From what i have seen there are going to be several spots where Wirth requires speed, bike and body control..that is great! I am very impressed by what I have seen. There are switch backs that are semi-blind, up and downs that require quick burst of acceleration and immediate bleed of speed. This is a single speed riders dream course I think!
