It's amazing that Shimano is willing to work with other companies on new technology.
I dont think they have much of a choice anymore, it makes em look good too, and im sure they are trying to corner something or other doing it, but if mavic does it too........ who knows, it also might be a "tour" thing too, all the major companies have some prototype in the tour a season if not season's ahead of actual release.
