Tommoro morning, me and a friend will be giving one of them a try. Which of the two is better. Both of us are fairly good bikers. Last friday I did hillside park in 50min, which i believe is a pretty good time. This will be our fist time to the one of the trails. Another option for us would be milaca since we live on the north end of town.
Thanks,
Paul

For first timers I say Lebanon. The Farm is much to hard to navigate on your first time out where as Leb is nicely mapped and easy to follow.

I think The Farm is more challenging trail, but it is confusing if you've never ridden there. Do Lebanon and include all the loops - it'll be a hoot.

Mmmm - Milaca - that's fun too!

I would have to say The Farm can be frustrating if you have no idea where you are going... Lebanon is a great trail, and is well marked..... Lebanon is my vote.

Either is a fine choice, but I would go with Lebanon Hills so you are not biking 7 extra miles while trying to find your way around the farm like I did. Take a loop on the X trail and then try a couple laps at the XX. There great rides either or though!

I'm partial to Lebanon myself... ;)

Ride The Farm with someone who has been there so you get as much enjoyment out of it as you can...

I'd say after Lebanon becomes completely single track this fall it will be tough to beat if for no other reason than its going to be around forever and is completely legal - but there are up and coming trails that will join the ranks very soon... I already have my eye on one that has the potential of knocking all current trails off the as the top dog.

I'm looking forward to that!

I'm with John, I'm very partial to Lebanon! Even though I travel 11 miles to ride, I think of it as my home trail. I have so much fun there I ignore the other trails!

We decided to head to The Farm. Good or bad choice, I'm not sure. All of you were very right about it being confusing, but it was incredibly fun! We spent about 4 hours out there, so yeah we did go over stuff twice. Beautiful area, with lots of wild life. Some of the track was a bit scary when your 6in from going over the ravine, but it all just adds to the fun.
We went there, because i heard the talk of it possibly getting developed, and thought i should try it before it does. Next time I think ill eather hit up lebanon or milaca. There both about the same distance.

Thanks All!

Paul

i truly believe the farm is one of the better trails around. It isnt constructed by the normal "rules" most people follow when they build the trails, and it definetly adds for a challenge. If you go with someone who knows the trail... you will truly enjoy it. Im not knocking leb in any way, i still go ride there atleast every-other week. they both provide enjoyment for skilled riders yet being that the farm actually runs through part of my property... i cant complain about the commute. :D Ride both! each person has their own preference. You cant go wrong with either, but i lean towards the farm for my favorite in the cities based on its technicalities. I love it and i will miss it. ride it before its gone....
its a shame the farm is in its last year..

I love Leb, but The Farm definately gives me a harder workout and the downhills give me more of those "I'M GOING TO CRASH I'M GOING TO CRASH I'M GOING TO CRASH, whew I made it!" kind of thrills. Rip through The Farm whilest you can before we see this, "The Farm, R.I.P."

The Farm is very confusing and I would be willing to help mark it. I've been there once with someone and it was terrifying but fun :crazy2: and several times by myself. It gives a great leg workout due to the steep steep climbs, whereas Lebanon gives a great upper body workout due to the many obstacles.

My vote is Leb because you can find your way thru there without a guide. You don't worry about meeting someone head-on (sometimes literally). And it's pick-your-level, which makes it fun for everyone. Bravo!

PS: Again, I'm interested in helping mark Farm1 and working/marking Farm2 (they are like a mile from my house :D )

Cleaning Leb is no problem, but I have never cleaned the Farm but guys do it every week. Thats why the farm is better as I know its a doable challenge.
